Housed in a polished 42mm stainless steel round case, 13.5mm thick, and the watch exudes balanced proportions and understated luxury. Its Blue dial features applied polished Rose gold-tone applied index and Roman numeral in position 6 and 12 o’clock hour markers, paired with slender Rose gold-tone slender feuille hands, all set against a finely printed minutes, seconds, and fractions-of-a-second track where every 5 minutes are marked with Arabic numerals for precise time reading. At 3 o’clock, a neatly framed day and date display adds everyday practicality. The chronograph layout is impeccably balanced, with a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock. The large central chronograph seconds hand ensures clear timing at a glance. The Portofino Chronograph not only embodies timeless design but also delivers practical functionality, effortlessly measuring single stop times and aggregate timing of up to 12 hours. Inside, the IWC caliber 75320 — a robust automatic movement beating at 28,800 vph with 25 jewels — offers a 44-hour power reserve, safeguarded by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a solid case back. Elegant, elongated push-buttons and chronograph displays nod to vintage chronographs, while the black alligator leather strap completes the look with a touch of classic Italian flair.
