Crafted from grade 5 titanium, the 41mm case, crown, and pushers are impressively lightweight—around 45% lighter than steel—yet remarkably rigid. The brushed finish is enhanced with polished detailing on the lugs, underscoring its refined athleticism. A key performance feature is the polished black ceramic bezel with an integrated tachymeter scale, enabling precise measurement of average speed over distance. The black dial gleams with a glossy finish, while recessed sub-dials, blackened nickel hands, and applied indices and numerals filled with Super-LumiNova® ensure superb readability, even in low light. This purposeful layout includes a vertical subdial configuration, with the stopped minutes clearly displayed at 12 o'clock for intuitive chronograph use. Beating within is the IWC-manufactured Calibre 69385, composed of 242 parts and visible through the tinted sapphire case back. Its bi-directional pawl winding system provides a robust 46-hour power reserve, while the column-wheel mechanism delivers crisp, tactile engagement of chronograph functions—engineered for precision timing at every phase.
